Ive been wanting something like this all my life and so excited to see this on my iPhone! The level of detail and flexibility available in this app are impressive and I get lost for hours playing with fractals. I absolutely love it and the Pro upgrade is totally worth getting.

Its cool at first but then it get boring because you cant make your own pictures.

I dont want to separately buy the iPad version since I have to type the security questions I dont know and it would be a waste of money

This app has gorgeous pictures and is so much fun to experiment with! The pictures can be customized and in the end look great, I made some really cool wallpapers for my phone using this app! I recommend this app, and if you do decide to buy it then I hope you have fun!

A fun rabbit hole sandbox with breathtaking visuals to mesmerize. As a person who makes fliers Im glad to have something like this in my pocket to construct my own fractals instead of Google searching whatever. Doubles as one hell of a hippie trap.

I had hoped to be able to input my own variables and formulae, as it is you can only visually manipulate pre existing fractals and sets, of which there are many, but its not quite the same as working out the math on your own Still though well worth the current price of a dollar, at two Id have been much more disappointed

The app by itself is awesome. You can spend hours in its world. HOWEVER this is not the full version. For having the full version you have to pay 5$ which is totally unfair! Ive already paid for this app, why should I pay more money?! Youve ruined it guys..

Anyone who loves exploring the Mandelbrot set and creating images will grok this app immediately. Basically, this is what we have been fantasizing about since the first iPhone— a state-of-the-art program taking full advantage of the touchscreen, one that allows you to create stunningly beautiful hi res images. The downfall of apps that do this on the desktop? Waits of hours for a decent rendering. So doing the processing for hi res in the cloud is genius. You will want to upgrade to the pro version for $4.99. Trust me. Listen. If you dont have experience with Mandelbrot set and fractal stuff, you are not gowing to appreciate how awesome this app is, but trust me-- youll be able to create beautiful things that you cannot do with any other app in the App Store. Oh. Ask a question or give feedback, and youll hear back very soon, with helpful information. Another reason why this app is a steal. And yes. I have really shed tears over this app.

Downloaded it and within a few minutes I upgraded to the pro version. 5 stars, 10/10, two thumbs up.

In my opinion, Frax HD, is the absolute best fractal art app available on the App Store today and this most recent update has made it even better I think. After the last big update I thought nothing could top being able to create and save video animations of my fractal artwork. But, now being able to paint my individual pieces different colors (outside of the really cool default color spectrum combinations available), well, Im blown away once again by the wonderful new features added to this application. This app has allowed me to create fractal design wallpapers that I previously thought were only possible on multi-hundred dollar computer applications. Plus, having the option to render and save copies of my art that are like the highest, high definition resolution Ive ever seen or that I even thought were possible. Which are suitable for printing gigantic poster art or just having extremely detailed and crazy HD wallpapers. Well, I just dont believe that you can find a better choice for fractal artwork on the App Store, now or ever. Thanks so much to the developer for the recent update and new features and for all the hard work youve no doubt put into maintaining and innovating with this application. iPad Air 2/iPhone 6 Plus iOS 9.3

I dont understand the recent negative reviews. If you have never seen this app in action you are going to absolutely be blown away as you scroll through fractal space in real time with lighting, shading, colors, textures and more rendered as fast as you can slide your finger around. For those with slowness issues, please check your available memory because you must be out of space on your device. This app is pure joy and will put a smile on your face if you are the least bit interested in fractals. Id rate it 10 out of 5 stars if I could.

I never leave reviews but this app deserves endless love and support. Its brilliant, and so beautiful. The golden ratio, the beauty of it all is just stunning. Well done. 20/5 stars

Hands down this is one of the best art applications for the iOS system! I love it tremendously! :D

Ive been an avid fractal program user since before there was a GUI, running Fractint at the DOS command line, and then in Windows. Shortly after getting an iPod Touch, I came across Frax, and hands down, in all seriousness, it is the best, EVER! Smooth zoom animations, fantastic colors, lighting effects and textures, and lots of options. I just dont do fractals on either my iMac or Windows computer any more because Frax is THAT GOOD.

As a lover of fractals for a number of years now, I have never had the pleasure of a fractal app that gave so many features as Frax. It is definitely my go-to app for fractal creations. With its many features and functions and copious user control, it is the best fractal app on the market!!

I love this app however if it wasnt 50% off I wouldnt buy it. The iPad app should be included bit and not a separate purchase. You end up spending too much money if you buy the iPhone and iPad app plus any in app purchases like the basic ability to capture video etc.

Beware you will be hooked
